ABOUT THE PUB
The pub, named after the great Irish workers' justice champion James Larkin ("Big Jim"), is, in a way, his fictional earthly home (Larkin settled in the heavenly home as early as 1947). Here are five cozy halls repeating the way of life of the Irish city dweller of the last century.
In the "living room" with Victorian stained glass windows and corpulent sofas, you can sit with a pint of beer, throwing your legs up on a bow-legged pouffe. In the "pantry" - consider the countless jars, plates and even kitchen utensils, supposedly present in Larkin's kitchen and found for a pub in the colorful flea markets of Ireland. The small "reading room" is crammed with books, magazines, and trade union editorials. And in the "office" there is an atmosphere of comfort and tranquility, created by an authentic, down to the smallest detail, interior.
