What is this?
Technique "Tomato" - a time management technique that can be used for any task. For many people, time is the enemy. Anxiety caused by the “ticking of the clock” leads to inefficient work and the habit of delaying tasks (procrastination).
The "Tomato" technique allows you to use time as a valuable ally in achieving what we want to do and how we want to do it. It gives us the opportunity to constantly improve how we work or learn.
Goals!
The Tomato Technique provides a simple tool for improving performance (for you or your team) and can be used to:
* Facilitate getting started
* Improved concentration, getting rid of distractions
* Increase awareness of your decisions
* Improvements and conservation of motivation
* Certainties with the understanding of achieving your goals
* Refinement of the process of assessing tasks, qualitatively and quantitatively
* Improvements in your work or study process
* Strengthen your resolve in difficult situations
How to use?
Get started:
1) Start the timer ("tomato")
2) Work until the "tomato" rings
3) Take a short break (3-5 minutes)
Continue to work "tomato" for "tomato" until all tasks are completed. Every 4 "tomatoes" take a long break (15-30 minutes).
And the timer will help you with this and will pause and start the timer automatically!
