Foamiran is an original soft, foamy material consisting of polymers. It is flexible, pleasant to the touch, easily stretches and changes shape when heated, therefore it is widely used in needlework. Most often, it is simply called fom (from the English foam — foam), but there are other names, for example: leather, foam rubber and plastic suede. Fom is a non-toxic product, therefore suitable for children's creativity. The material is made in the form of thin sheets, the thickness depends on the name of the manufacturer.

Foamiran dolls have their own name - fofuchi. They are characterized by huge heads with brightly drawn features and large feet with slippers. At first glance, for beginner needlewomen, the manufacture of such crafts may seem almost impossible.
