The Boring Travels in the Urals application is a guide to popular tourist places in the Chelyabinsk region. In it you will find ready-made excursions and exciting routes in the Southern Urals, detailed descriptions of tourist sites and two hundred photographs of the sights of our region.

We created the Boring Ural Journey app for experienced tourists, guides, historians, guests of the region and all those who dream of traveling around the Chelyabinsk region, but do not know where to start. It has everything you need to hit the road right away:

— 28 ready-made excursions in the Chelyabinsk region;

— background information about 100 amazing places in the Southern Urals;

- more than 200 photos of sights.

The application determines the user's location on the map, which means that he will not go astray and easily find his way to the next point on the tourist route.


The mobile application was developed on the basis of the Internet project "Nonsense Journeys in the Urals". The author is the Chelyabinsk Regional Universal Scientific Library.

The project is led by the local history department of CHUNB. The specialists of the department regularly update the excursions in the application - supplement them with new photos and relevant information.
