Quest in reality
Description.
1. The games require the Internet and GPS to receive coordinates and display them on the Yandex map.
2. The game is online, multiplayer. You can play alone, but if someone else sets up the game, it may not be very interesting to play by yourself.
3. The essence of the games comes down to finding objects on the map by their coordinates. If the coordinates of your device are very close to the coordinates of the object on the map, that is, you approached the object, then it is considered that you found this object and you are awarded a point. The game can be somewhat reminiscent of "Sports orienteering on the ground".
4. It should be understood that different devices have different errors in determining GPS coordinates and different Internet quality, so different players may be able to "take" the same object at different distances from each other.
It should also be noted that now in some areas the GPS signal may be blocked for security reasons, so the application may display incorrect current coordinates, in which case you will not be able to play and we cannot fix this from the software side. You can check the application later or try to launch it in another place.
5. The application has 3 games in two modes each:
1) "Collector 1, 2" (collect objects on the map in any order)
2) "Zig-Zag 1, 2" (collect objects in a strict order)
3) "Hide and Seek 1, 2" (objects are hidden, not visible on the map, we search for objects by touch like sappers).
The first mode in each game is not limited in time, the game lasts until each player collects all the objects placed on the map. The winner is the one who collects them faster than everyone else.
The second mode is for time. The time is set when creating a game from 1 to 60 minutes. The winner is the one who collects more items on the map in the set time.
6. When creating a game, the player first needs to specify the territory of the playing field where everyone will play and where the items will be placed. This is a conditional border for the convenience of all players. It does not affect anything, but it is necessary to set it.
After that, items are placed on the marked territory. Their type and quantity are chosen by the player.
7. After preparing the playing field, the game is created, a password for the game is generated. This password is communicated to the players to connect to the game. The number of players is specified in advance when creating the game, an extra player will not be able to connect.
8. At the end of the game, a results table is generated, where the players' rating is displayed.
9. The application is available on Android, starting with version 7.0. It is free, but contains advertising to support it.
10. Thank you for reading to the end.
