The Zung Scale for self-assessment of depression is a test that identifies the somatic, psychological, behavioral, and affective symptoms of depression. It contains 20 questions, based on the results of the answers to which the total score is determined. The test is designed for self-study and allows you to get a quantitative assessment of the severity of depression.

All you need to pass this psychological test is to answer the questions as honestly as possible. If the test results are negative, it does not mean 100% absence of depression, because you may not have answered the questions correctly. However, a positive test result is a very good reason to meet with a specialist.
