The application includes the most complete
information on the contribution made by Yekaterinburg and its residents to
Great Victory.

The application tells the stories of life and exploits of 64 heroes of the Soviet
Union from Yekaterinburg, included stories about more than 100 veterans of the Great
World War II. More than 60 stories of veterans living in Yekaterinburg also fell into the anthology of Victory.

Each Yekaterinburg citizen can post a story about his veterans - for
of this there is a special section “Add the story of your veteran”. After
checks by moderators received stories become available for
all users of the application.

The section “City during the war years” contains documents and materials about events
and the life of the city in 1941-1945. Plunging into them, you can
go back to those difficult years and fully experience the scale of the tasks
who decided the Urals in the rear. Yekaterinburg was a defense center
