Struggle to wake up early? This app may help you.
Tons of light alarm apps exist on Play store, and some of them even have a blink mode. However, AFAIK, none of them would start blinking BEFORE your wake-up time. Why is that important? Because shifting your circadian rhythm takes time.
This app uses a scientifically designed blinking pattern to shift your circadian rhythm rather than wake you up. Research has shown that the effect of ultra-short light flashes with an interval no less than 7.6 s is much stronger than a constant light stimulation. Ultra-short light flashes won't disrupt your sleep, but could shift your circadian rhythm WHILE you're asleep.
The blinking will get stronger to wake you up as your wake-up time approaches (but the interval never goes shorter than 7.6 s). However, this is not meant to guarantee that you wake up. This is a circadian rhythm regulator. To guarantee a wake up, we recommend that you set a sound alarm at the same time.
We recommend that you use a phone holder to place your phone's flash light right above your face to achieve the full effect. However, you can still get some effect as long as your room is lit by the light (as research shows).
