The OWA app can be used to provide guidance on room acoustics based on a number of performance standards:

• DIN 18041 (Germany, Switzerland)
• ÖNORM B 8115-3 (Austria)
• Arrêté du 25 avril 2003 (France)

Select the required standard and once the room dimensions and details of the internal surfaces have been entered the app will provide a graphical representation of the reverberation time in the room.

As you select the quantities and type of acoustic elements from the OWA range, the reverberation time will change and the app will advise you if the selected standard has been met. The ability to introduce several different types of OWA elements into the calculation allows a high degree of fine tuning to the acoustic design of the room.

Depending on the standard selected, additional information such as the tolerance ranges, noise reduction, average absorption coefficient and the equivalent absorption area can also be displayed.

Once complete a PDF document showing the details of the calculation can be printed or emailed.
