Norrköping City Museum is located in the middle of Norrköping's exciting industrial landscape, housed in old factory premises right next to Motala stream. Here you can wander through the city history and see Norrköping grow up into a textile city. Looms, spinning machines and other machines for textile production run regularly even today. But the museum also continues outside the museum building. If you follow the stream upstream you will soon come to Himmelstalund, one of northern Europe's largest rock carvings with 3000-year-old rock carvings from the Bronze Age. Here you are guided between the hobs and experience a rich ancient world of images, a glimpse of life long ago.
