The PictureMyLife Diary is a user-friendly, image-based communication app for children, youth, and adults with special support needs.
With The Diary, you can communicate, document, and share your day by taking photos, recording videos, and using one of the integrated symbol libraries. Easily upload pictures/videos, add text, and instantly share this information with invited users.
The Diary facilitates communication between home, school, and respite care facilities, or between daily activities, caregivers, and family members. You can also invite other important people to view and comment on your stories. As a guardian or trustee, you decide who gains access.
Only invited users can view your stories and images. Each Diary owner (child, youth, or adult) has their own simplified login, allowing them to view, read, write, upload photos/videos, or express feelings with mood symbols.
In The Diary, you can take photos and videos directly in the app, use symbol libraries, practice signs with videos from the Swedish Sign Language Dictionary, upload pictures from your gallery, write text alongside each image and video, or write longer text entries. You can select the specific day for your posts, edit and delete your entries, and quickly mark posts as read using the “Read” button below each entry (you can also check who has read your posts via a button marked with a green circle). Additionally, you can view the latest 10 entries/comments through the hand symbol on the “My Diaries” page, invite up to 20 people to each Diary, comment on published entries, and listen to text via speech synthesis (Listen button)
