MEMORY ZEN ALPHA

Memory Zen Alpha is letter learning tool for the smallest from 3 years of age to anyone with a young mind. The game features all the upper and lower case letters of the English alphabet and every match made is accompanied by the audible sound of the letter pronounced.

The game is orientation aware and will re-orient itself with the orientation of the screen. It has a click counter and a chronometer making it suitable for measuring progress or to compete. There is also a control for changing letter case from lower to upper and vice versa. Making it to the end, i.e. matching all the letters of the board a cheerful fanfare is played to mark success.

No particular skills are needed to play the game it is completely intuitive.

Screen Sizes
The game is designed to size the content of low (240-320), medium and high (320-480) density screens for the “Smart-phones” as well as for tablets. It also re-arranges and re-scales content on device orientation change.

INSTRUCTION
We start playing with a board completely covered. Poking one of the cells, will un-cover a letter that will stay visible without further clicks. Every time we touch (click) a cell, a letter will be revealed. There are 8 pairs of letters in total hiding in the game-board, randomly placed. The objective is to match all letters. Matching has to be done in 2 consecutive clicks. Not making a match in the second click will make current as well as the previous letter appear for a second and then becoming covered again. On the other hand, if the letter of the second consecutive click matches the first letter, both letters will become permanently uncovered i.e. stay visible until the entire game board is uncovered and the game is won.

There is no loosing playing this game but loosing the patience, giving up before all cells are uncovered. When finally all cells are uncovered you will be greeted with a cheerful fanfare and your handset will vibrate briefly.
