The chanterelle patch is a subscription service designed to increase your chances of finding chanterelles. The marked areas on the map are calculated based on a number of factors that are important for chanterelles to thrive.

This is what you get in Kantarellappen:

* Map with highlighted good chanterelle terrain, chanterelle roads and chanterelle paths.

The map shows chanterelle areas of three types; pink areas with easy terrain to walk in, purple areas with medium-difficulty terrain that can sometimes feel a little dense and tight, and blue areas with difficult terrain that can yield big crops but require a little more of you. Chanterelle roads are also marked in blue on the map. They are smaller dirt roads where you can find chanterelles in the roadside or right on the side of the road. There are also chanterelle paths marked with green paint. Before you decide to subscribe: observe the screenshots so that Kantarellappen covers the part of Sweden you want to look for chanterelles in.

* Mark your mushroom spots.

You can mark where you find mushrooms. These places remain your secret and are saved only on your phone. In the app you can see your saved mushroom locations. You can go back to these places on the map. They can also be edited or deleted. In addition, you can mark where you parked the car.

* Load parts of the map to the phone's memory.

If you have problems with poor reception in the forest, you can download smaller parts of the map to the phone's memory before you go out into the forest.

* Track how you walk.

Turn on tracking and you'll see how you move in the terrain. This is handy if you want to make sure you've searched an area properly.

* Precipitation statistics

Without rain-no chanterelles. In the app, you have access to precipitation statistics for the last 30 days directly on the map. Plan your mushroom trip according to how it has rained in your area.

* Coverage area for the Chanterelle patch
In the current version of the Kantarellappen, chanterelle areas are calculated from Skåne in the south up to Mora in the north. Also note that there are fewer chanterelle areas marked on Öland and Gotland and in the southernmost part of Skåne.
