This app was created by Dunman High School for the SCCL App Development Competition 2018.

Panda Learns Chinese creates an engaging and immersive world to educate young users on the different jobs in Chinese. Various stations provides a variety of sub-games in our application, keeping the interest of young users for a long time.


The interactions and games with the cute pet panda encourages children to use the app frequently, leading to them learning Chinese more regularly.

Fun does not come at the expense of education! Instead, the interactive and multi-approach methods used in our application will better educate young minds. The sub-games enable users to learn relevant words or phrases through listening and applying them in sentences, while their repeated occurrences in various sub-games reinforces their understanding and memorisation, exposing and educating them in a natural, casual way.
