Motibu is a step counting and exercise recording app developed to support users’ healthy lifestyle habits. To accurately track and record users' health data in real time, Motibu uses the FOREGROUND_SERVICE permission in the following ways:
1. Requirement and use of permission: When you start exercising, Motibu uses this permission to precisely track your activity. This allows you to accurately count steps and reliably record exercise sessions even when the app is running in the background or your smartphone is locked.
2. Time to request permission: After the user logs in to the Motibu app, request FOREGROUND_SERVICE permission to measure step count in the “Access Permission Information” view. If the user grants this permission, step measurement recording will begin and data will be recorded until the app is deleted or the member cancels membership.
3. Data use and user control: Motibu only uses the collected data for user health analysis and personal exercise records, and does not share it with third parties under any circumstances. Users can disable permissions at any time in the Settings menu, but please note that this may limit exercise recording functionality.
4. Impact of denying permission: If you deny permission, Motibu will not be able to measure steps and record exercise in the background. However, when using the app directly, all functions work normally.
