StaffSync provides organisations instant access to their casual or permanent staff through either job notifications for casual positions, or roster updates.

As a permanent or casual staff member, by allowing the app to register you for "push notifications" you will be automatically notified via the Google Cloud Messaging (GCM) service of any positions being offered. These will be sent directly to your phone, without needing to have the app running - similar to the way SMS (text) message alerts are received. Simply click on a notification when it appears and the app will open and take you directly to the ‘New Jobs’ section of your StaffSync profile to show you the job(s) you have been offered - which then allows you to respond as desired.

StaffSync also provides the option to clock in and out of jobs if required by your employer. For this reason location permission is requested when you install the app to determine your exact position when clocking in and out of jobs. This is optional.
