ABOUT MUSHROOM APP- KVK , PURI
Puri is the mushroom capital of Odisha. Mushroom has got a special
niche among the viable enterprises for sustainable livelihood owing to
congenial climate and availability of space for laying beds in coconut
orchard. Moreover, huge quantities of mushroom are being pumped to
Bhubaneswar market every day. So small and marginal farmers are
relying on mushroom for their livelihood. With this background KVK, Puri
felt strongly to popularize the mushroom enterprise to the remotes
exploring user friendly mobile app. The aim of this App is to provide instant
information on mushroom to farmers, entrepreneurs and researchers.
Therefore the Mushroom App, KVK, Puri is the result of our
continuous and sincere efforts.

1) To give a brief knowledge about KVK Puri, answers of frequently asked
question and to connect people with our website
2) To access mushroom entrepreneurs for mushroom inputs with their GPS
location and address. By the farmers
3) To aware both the consumer and cultivator about the nutritional benefits
of mushroom and need for cultivation
.4) To be a complete technological guide for mushroom cultivation which
includes how to cultivate PSM, Oyster mushroom and use of Whole straw
Thresher for availability of bundled straw, PSM cultivation in winter,
mushroom spawn production, Income and expenditure details of mushroom
farming and identified problems and the recommended solution there off
