Tele sur occidente was born as its own, permanent, reliable and impartial informative alternative, at the service of more than 80 neighborhoods in the south-west of Barranquilla.
Taking the technological benefits for communications on the web -page, radio station (in assembly) and television channel (in assembly) Tele sur occidente is - since February 2, 2017- a novel alternative medium because it cedes the leading role in the execution of journalistic work to ordinary citizens -social leaders, civic leaders, students, educators, athletes and workers- to develop a natural, simple, stark and profound journalistic product, which represents the interests of the southwest of Barranquilla and distances itself from the Information manipulation that has affected Colombia for four decades.
