Real Facts Of the Titanic ???

This app will show you some interesting things about this luxury and glamorous ship. An interesting fact is that the Titanic had only 20 lifeboats more than the regulatory number although the ship had capacity for 64. Those lifeboats had capacity for 65 passengers each, so they could have saved 1.178 passengers,but most of them took less. Of the 20 lifeboats on board they only used 16. It was one of the largest shipwrecks in history in peacetime and killed 1,514 people out of the 2,223 on board.


Other evidence is that a large number of man died due to the strict rescue protocol that was followed in the evacuation process of the ship, known as 'women and children first'. Don't miss the evacuatioon titanic images.


An interesting fact of this story is that 700 people survive. If you travelled in first class you had more probability of surviving than in a lower level. The number of survivors were 492 passengers and 214 crew members.
