This world is divided into the City of Light, Aether, and the City of Darkness, Erebus.

Maybe the world has always been in shades of black and white. Divided, separated and the irony was – no one knew it. They thought they were in control, thought their actions caused this chaos. They were wrong. Oh how wrong they were.
It was always delightful, you see, to cause such anarchy.

Players have the choice to explore either one, and depending on their choice, they will follow a certain story arc, and meet characters from either city. All story arcs intersect of course, and perhaps, along the way, they may just discover that both cities, despite their stark differences, share the same history… Maybe there used to be a time when both cities were one.

This is a collaboration between a creative writer and programmer, aiming to create a visual novel (a narrative style gaming) where the story line and endings are effected by the choices made by the player at certain points in the game.
