The Levantine Dialect App is an Android mobile app dedicated to collecting voice recordings from people across the Levantine region, with a focus on capturing the country’s diverse regional dialects. The purpose of the app is to collect large-scale speech data in order to map accent and dialect patterns across different regions, age groups, genders, and socio-economic backgrounds.

The application was developed by Imre Draskovits on behalf of Newcastle University.
