Expo IO is a simple application that links to Codegate’s suite of Expo solutions enabling event organisers to keep track of their delegates in real time. Organisers can create multiple locations for their event in the Expo admin console where they would like to be able to record delegate movements. Sessions can be created prior to, during or after the event which enables organisers to know exactly how many people attended a session whilst providing live reporting to let them know how many people are in a specific location at any time.

The Expo IO app allows organisers to use either the device camera or built in imager to scan delegate badges, either In or Out of a location. The device screen will confirm if a badge is valid and the correct name of the delegate.

When used in conjunction with Expo’s dining planner, the device will also display the delegates table number meaning that seating plans can be altered right up to the start of the event and diners can be seated without delay.

If devices are connected to the internet, information is passed back to the Expo admin cloud console in real time enabling organisers to ensure that staffing levels are managed within each of the areas so that health and safety numbers are not breached.
