At GUST, we have a simple ethos – every student should be able to swim with confidence. And when it comes to learning in a safe, fun, and friendly environment, they’ll find nowhere better to achieve that goal.

Family-run, we have our very own purpose-built Centre of Excellence for the express purpose of delivering the highest quality swimming lessons for students of all ages and abilities.

Students enjoy a vibrant and sparkling pool which is a lovely 31 degrees, while for parents every cubicle has baby change facilities. Snacks and drinks are available, and we also have our very own swim shop – all in an irresistibly bright, colourful, and caring environment.

Why did we build our pool? Research has shown that one in three students are leaving primary school unable to swim. More than 70% of schools do not even implement swimming within their timetable. Also, parents often find existing leisure facilities to be outdated, both in methods and facilities.

At GUST, we see swimming not as a luxury, but a fun, vital, and potentially life-saving skill. One that will bring enjoyment, and safety, for years to come.
