Purpose of the Tumemu app is to lower cost of commute for all users, to minimise traffic on road, to reduce air pollution and greenhouse effect, and help in reducing climate change.

Users of the App, as lift taker, should be able commute to their destination using lift provided by other users (lift provider) around half the cost of running their own vehicle, and pay the service fee that is charged by App. Sharing the journey decreases the cost of travel for both lift provider and lift taker . One can be either lift taker or lift provider for a journey. Users who do not want use their vehicle or do not have a vehicle, can use lift providers for their commute.

Users of the App would save by sharing the expense incurred in a commute but should not try to make profit by providing lift. The app users can not withdraw any amount from their account. Amount collected as cost share by lift provider can only be used as cost share as lift taker in future commutes and as service charges of the App for the commute.

Service fee is applied to find or list for lift for certain amount of time irrespective of any lift provided or not.
Service fee is applied if a lift is arranged between lift provider and lift taker irrespective of lift is provided or not.
At the end of lift taken, lift taker pay the lift provider the agree lift charge in cash or by in app transfer from lift taker account to lift provider account.
Tumemu app does not guarantee the distance for which lift provided or payment of lift usage charge.
