Road Accidents, also called a motor vehicle collision, car accident, or car crash occurs when a vehicle collides with another vehicle, pedestrian, animal, road debris, or other stationary obstruction, such as a tree, pole or building. Road Accidents often result in injury, disability, death, and property damage as well as financial costs to both society and the individuals involved.

The user needs to mandatorily select at least one emergency contact from the phonebook and allow all the requested permissions before proceeding with app activation. Once activated, the app will keep running in the background, and continue its working without interrupting the user, until force closed or manually deactivated.

By leveraging location tracking and using a compass, the app is able to monitor the speed and movement of the vehicle to detect road crashes. If under any circumstances, a driver needs to apply a “SUDDEN BRAKE”, or If the vehicle deviates from its direction suddenly, maybe due to drift (as an effect of sudden brake or to get safe from an obstacle on the way) chance for accident event will get triggered in the app and will display a warning box with a countdown timer to the user.
If the user presses cancel before the countdown times out, the app will detect the driver as safe and will not alert the selected emergency contacts, otherwise, an emergency message will be sent along with a location to them.

For your safety, we've made this app work on two different modes - StandAlone and Connected. StandAlone functionality doesn't require a device to be connected to the internet, while mobile data needs to be activated when using Connected mode. The connected mode also requires connectedModePlugin installed in the user's device.

Through Connected Mode, Parent users can easily track the live location of the rider at any time and can also set max speed limit for them. If the rider exceeds this limit, a notification will be sent to the guardian app and an alert sound will be played in the rider's app.
