The German-Uzbek electronic dictionary of adjective-forming affixes is valuable as the first reference work that was created in Uzbek and German in the field of word formation in Uzbek lexicography. It comprises approximately 170 units from which adjectives are derived, with each affix presented as a lemma and illustrated with examples. The dictionary articles are based on the scientific knowledge of leading lexicographers as well as on existing lexicographic macro- and microstructural principles. This can be used by students, doctoral candidates and professors at universities in subjects such as lexicology, lexicography, translation studies and comparative linguistics.
