Development of smart phones and technology has changed the overall scenario by virtue of which, development of mobile applications has emerged as a powerful industry in IT market. Mobile applications are widely used in all sectors to introduce new methodologies which can help people for different purposes. In western countries these applications are very commonly used to utilize the critical time. Most of such applications are designed in abroad considering it to be a latest technology. We are trying to adopt and utilize new technologies in Pakistan which can provide ease of use to the public users as well as other officials. VMS App is an android based mobile application used for the online registration of vehicles which was being done manually before this and can provide registration facilities in the field of transportation. It consists of categories and options for customer to request for registering new vehicle, transfer ownership and track response. User can complete registration process by filling his/her personal information and vehicle’s information in the given forms. User can also view his/her response in the “track response” section by filling correct CNIC and Chasis no of vehicle. User can send feedback and their daily complaints to VMS App. This application can be operated by finger and device used for the operation is android based smart phone. This application will reduce the time consumption in the vehicle’s registration and also less effort and expenses will be required for this purpose.
