H.OIP is an intermediary tool to link components in the innovation ecosystem, a place to strengthen connections between startups and organizations, to share knowledge and solve problems. A platform is a “modular structure consisting of tangible and intangible components that facilitates the interaction of components and resources.”
The innovative startup ecosystem is made up of many components surrounding the core of innovative startups. The H.OIP platform is built on the following main components (including but not limited to):
1. Innovative entrepreneurs, innovative startups (Startups);
2. Investors (investment funds, financial institutions);
3. Incubators (innovative startups and accelerators);
4. State or Government (Central and local);
5. Science, research and development area (Schools, Institutes, Experimental Research Laboratories);
6. Commercial houses and large enterprises, business associations;
7. Units providing operational support services (accounting, finance, legal, market development research);
8. Independent startup consultant/advisor, startup support unit;
9. Other non-governmental development organizations.
