With One-Tap, you can stop speed-running when you're trying to log in using 2step verification, One-Tap doesn't provide codes but instead sends out notifications to press a button to confirm you're trying to log in to a service.

You might think the current 2 step authentication is good enough, but this provides a way easier touch to how you confirm identity. Now you no longer need to worry that by the time you enter the code, it will expire. The only downside is, each service that wishes to participate must add this, and this cannot be an add-on app to normal 2 factor authentication.
