The Umhlanga SRC Community Security project has engaged with both security as well as internet service providers with the purpose of better securing our community. Our preferred security provider is Blue Security, who provides their clients in the area with a dynamic community-driven solution. 

Created by immedia in Durban, South Africa, specifically for the Umhlanga SRC community, the Umhlanga SRC app aims to amplify engagement and enhance the sense of community amongst our members. 

The Umhlanga SRC app includes, amongst others, the following useful features:

• Dedicated chat groups around topics of importance and interest like Security, Pets & Umhlanga History in a private and secure space.
• One-touch dialing of emergency and useful community contacts.
• A distribution channel for News and Events.
