When using the app online (via Wifi or mobile data), the app offers 3 different online map sources - EOTopo, Streets & Paths, and Satellite. You can use the app with these maps without download or any additional purchase.

For offline use, you will need to download at least the EOTopo Base Map (included). Additional offline map detail available for AU$49.99.

Purchase includes download of ExplorOz Places and Treks database with approx 90,000 POIs, and 187 Treks. Free updates in-app.

Purchase includes download of Base Pack EOTopo offline map of Australia (zoom level 1-10) but additional purchase of EOTopo 2019 App Version for AU$49.99 is required to view zoom levels 11-16. EOTopo 2019 is the best map of Australia on the market - beautiful resolution, true topographic details and enhanced traveller facilities and services marked using active overlays.

TRACKER
The app will record and store position data whilst it is running but to automatically sync this data to your online account for backup or to enable family/friends to follow your journey on a map as you travel, you can purchase a Membership subscription that allows you to enable this Tracker feature. Cost is just AU$29.95 for a 12 month subscription after installing app.

SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS:
Device must have an inbuilt or external GPS to show current position & use navigation features. If you have a Wifi only iPad please note that this does not have an inbuilt GPS but you can connect an external GPS receiver. GPS usage can decrease battery life. Total of 4.38 GB storage is required for all available offline resources & maps packs.
