“Environment” is a new Area of Focus for Rotary since July 2021. By definition, environmental projects cover a long period of time and potentially large geographical area. There is a need for tracking the progress of Rotary’s environmental projects across time and space.
Rotary Mettupalayam, Rotary Club of Coimbatore Midtown and ESRAG have announced the launch of a flagship global project called iRotree. The project, consisting of a mobile app, a website and a team of Rotaractors, will allow the long term value of Rotary's environment projects to be made visible to the world in a measurable form. All Rotary Clubs globally will be able to use the platform.
