Ouvre Toi - Your Private Offline Authenticator
What is OTP?
One-Time Passwords (OTPs) are short numeric codes that change every 30 seconds.
They provide a second layer of security for signing in to websites and apps.
Each service gives you a secret (usually as a QR code) that your authenticator stores.
From that secret, identical codes can be generated on any trusted authenticator app.
How it works:
1. When setting up two-factor authentication, your target app or website will show a QR code.
2. Open Ouvre Toi, tap Scan QR Code, and the secret is stored securely on your device.
3. Each time you need to sign in, open Ouvre Toi to see your current 6-digit code.
4. You can also import an existing secret or paste a setup URL manually.
Why Ouvre Toi?
- Works completely offline
No network access, no tracking, no analytics.
- No data collection
Ouvre Toi does not create accounts, send telemetry, or identify you in any way.
- Full privacy and control
All secrets are stored in the iOS Keychain, protected by Face ID or Touch ID.
- Import and export support
Scan QR codes, paste setup URLs, or export an existing secret as a link or QR code -
ideal for backup or transferring between devices.
- Parallel use with other authenticators is possible
The same QR code can be scanned into Ouvre Toi and another authenticator.
Perfect for keeping an offline backup or sharing access with your browser.
- Browser Integration
If you wish, you can decide to share your OTP secret with Apple Passwords, using the built-in “Open in Passwords” option.
(if you do, this lets Safari and other browsers automatically generate your 2FA codes)
- VoiceOver ready
Every control is accessible, labeled, and thoughtfully arranged for users who rely on VoiceOver.
- No ads, no accounts, no clutter
Just your codes - simple, fast, and secure.
