The EForwasteBC application enables waste surveyors to complete a field waste assessment on both the coast and the interior, generate reports and output files, email a data file to another user or upload the data into the online WASTE system. The application includes procedures for collecting waste using the traditional simple random sampling methods as well as the newly developed ratio sampling techniques within a block, stratum and plot. The user can then view the preliminary results of the survey on screen as the survey is completed.
