This app provides you with a user interface similar to a traditional TEE control module, so that you can become familiar, in a realistic way, to how the echo image is affected by the manipulation of the various controllers. The app can automatically recognise the 28 standard TEE views, and will notify you when they are displayed correctly. It also offers interactive guidance to help you find the right control settings for each of them. A major challenge in learning echocardiography is the complex spatial arrangement of cardiac structures, which makes the relation between echocardiographic imaging planes and cardiac anatomy difficult to understand.
