The ICE Check-In App, created by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement, provides a virtual check-in option for noncitizens. Noncitizens may use their verified ICE Portal Account to log into the app, which uses facial verification and geolocation capabilities to verify noncitizens' identities and current locations to complete scheduled check-ins.
ICIA is available to select noncitizens who have been enrolled by ICE personnel. Only those noncitizens who have been specifically designated will have access to the app. Traditional check-in services, such as scheduling in-person appointments with local ICE field offices, remain available to those not enrolled in the program.
