Footsteps is an interactive story where you can explore two different versions of Maria, a Syriac Orthodox woman living in Sweden.

The story of Maria is based on the research project ‘Integration and Tradition’, and the aim of Footsteps is to use digital storytelling to increase understanding of the challenges of integration among ethnic and religious minorities in Sweden.

The interactive story highlights challenging experiences of integration in order to promote discussion and dialogue, thereby increasing empathy and reducing polarisation.
