InstaMarker
In the past month, I submitted my ID photo to 7 different platforms. Despite concerns about information leakage and security, I couldn’t refuse. Clearly, as long as we want to participate in modern life, we can’t avoid sending our information to various organizations and individuals.
Perhaps most people know that you can add a stamp to your ID photo to reduce the chances of it being misused, and many have installed apps on their phones to add watermarks to photos. But I have to say, it’s still a hassle. Based on my own experience, after opening the app, I have to search through my gallery for the ID photo, choose the “add watermark” feature, and then input the text. Just finding the ID photo takes nearly a minute, even though I’ve already organized my ID photos into a specific album, because the gallery is so cluttered.
So why not create a simpler app that only adds watermarks to ID photos? With it, I can immediately view my original ID photo as soon as I open the app, and with just a click, I can add the watermark I need. At the same time, I don’t need to give it excessive permissions; apart from adding watermarks, it can’t do anything else, and it can’t even connect to the internet, so there’s no need to worry about any risks.
This is the story behind the creation of InstaMarker. I hope it can help you save some time.
