Kvitteringsvenn is a user-friendly app for iPhone and iPad that simplifies the entire workflow around receipt and document management – without the need for complex accounting systems or constant internet access.
The app uses your device’s camera to scan receipts with a single tap, and leverages a built-in OCR engine (based on Tesseract/ML Kit) to recognize key information such as date, vendor, and total amount.
Smart and intuitive organization
Receipts are automatically stored in a clear folder structure, sorted by year, month, and company. This structure is mirrored both within the app and in the device’s file system, making it easy to locate documents through text search or by filtering on company, date, or amount.
New: Upload to Google Drive
You can now enable Google Drive integration to securely back up your receipts in the cloud – completely automatically. The app creates a folder named "Kvitteringsvenn" on your Google Drive, with subfolders for each month. Perfect for sharing with your accountant or colleagues – no manual uploads required.
Email receipts – quickly and securely
Kvitteringsvenn generates a pre-filled email draft with the receipt attached and ready to send. Emails are sent through our secure SMTP proxy, and any temporary files are deleted immediately afterward – for maximum privacy.
