Montage
A montage is a sequence of short video clips edited together to tell a story, compress time, or highlight contrast. It’s one of the most effective tools in visual storytelling—used to evoke emotion or deliver meaning quickly.
Traditionally, montages require recording many clips, organizing them, and editing them by hand—a process that takes time, specialized tools, and tries to re-create a moment that is gone.
Montaj
Montaj records clips live—one by one—and builds the montage as you go. Smooth audio and video transitions are added automatically to create flow, context and interest. There is no editing. You stay in the moment while Montaj shapes the story.
Minimalist App
The interface is a single screen, keeping you fully in the live moment. Every control is deliberate—no menus to navigate, no distractions. Montaj lets you capture the flow of life as it happens. There is no final editing, just share and move on to the next event.
Caution
Occasionally, a video montage may fail due to rare or unknown issues. I am actively working to make Montaj fail-safe, but it is not guaranteed. Please avoid using Montaj for events where a failure could result in financial loss or significant personal distress. —George
