Money Manager by Chipa is a next-generation expense tracking app designed for GenZ who love simplicity and convenience in managing their personal finances.
Chipa is not an accounting app, nor is it an all-in-one personal finance management app like the others you've downloaded, used, and uninstalled dozens of times before.
We focus on managing daily and weekly expenses to help you answer the questions:
What the hell did I spend my money on?
Where did my salary go?
What made me spend most of my meager salary like that?
Expense tracking? - YES
You input your expenses and categorize them. We'll help you with statistics and weekly reports. Monthly/yearly reports? We skip that - you don't really care about last year's food expenses.
Reports? - YES
We have total expense reports and expense percentages by predefined categories on a weekly basis. Your job is just to monitor.
I forgot a few transactions? - YES
We're sure those are tiny and unimportant amounts. We're managing expenses, not being accountants - if something's not important, skipping it won't hurt.
I stopped for a while, can I start again? - YES
We manage expenses weekly. If you don't feel like it one week, just skip it and start again next week. We're a bit sad but you probably won't be affected.
Is Chipa free? - YES and NO
Feel free to use it for free, but if you like it and want it to keep developing, buy us a small cup of coffee each month. It helps us pay for food, support our families, and keep this app running 24/7.
Balance management? - NO
We help you know how much you've spent and what you spent it on. If you forget a few transactions, they probably weren't that important anyway.
Budget planning? - NO
Chipa helps you track and categorize your expenses because we know you never stick to budgets anyway.
Bank account integration - NO
We focus on simplicity and security. If you want to track your bank account, use their app.
Multi-currency management? - NO
99.99% of the time you only spend your country's currency.
Custom expense categories? - NO
Do you really spend much outside of food, shopping, transportation, education, or entertainment? Currently, we focus on simplicity and speed.
Feature upgrades in the future? - YES
We'll consider based on community feedback, but our philosophy will always keep Chipa simple, lightweight, and lovely.
Group or family management? - YES
But not now. We love the idea but haven't figured out how to do it better than competitors. Personal focus is our current priority.
Receipt tracking? - NO
You probably have a few receipts a month. Why make it complicated when you only need a few seconds to track that?
Future planning? - NO
If you can plan what to eat tomorrow or how much to save by year-end, it doesn't matter which app you use to track expenses.
