The MICAS (Machine Intelligence Call Assistance System) mobile service app is a unique self-help system that collects current machine data and assists MFP service technicians in resolving service calls.
Once a technician enters the MFP model and serial number, the current data of the MFP is instantly available, including:
- Machine totals
- Toner Levels
- Alerts
- Current firmware version
Additionally, several diagnostic options are available to the service technician:
Service Assessment – Displays a snapshot of a machine’s security vulnerabilities and provides the ability to remediate them and/or share a vulnerability report.
Diagnostics – generates 22-6 and 23-2 reports and provides the ability to share the reports.
MIB Walk – Collects an SNMP walk that can be shared to help diagnose incorrect counts.
