May 10, 2023 Version History
This update has some radar-map additions & changes and some bug fixes.Radar ChangesPartly Sunny’s radar-data provider made some changes that resulted in the map layers for severe-weather warnings, storm cells, and advisories not fully loading their data. Unfortunately I had to remove the advisories layer as a result. The warnings and storm-cells layers, though, are still available but are updated to use slightly different data.Radar AdditionsThere are also some new map layers. For US locations, there’s a new radar & clouds layer. For locations in Europe, the radar & warnings layer is now also available. And for locations worldwide, there’s a new temperatures layer and wind-speeds layer.Also, when the warnings layer is selected, there’s a new button in the radar view to swap the layer positions. By default, precipitation radar is on top of the warnings layer, but to better see the warnings that may be covered by the radar layer, you can swap the layers so warnings are on top.Apple Weather FixThe issue where Apple Weather forecasts might not display properly for some users should be fixed.
