Golf first apparead in Verbier in 1969 with the opening of the Par 3 Moulins course, right in the heart of the resort. In fact, throughout its twenty years, it has maintained a reputation as a quality course providing the golfer with a very useful and unique opportunity to perfect his mastery of the short game.

The Essert course has been built in Verbier at an altitude of 1600 meters. This mountain course dominates the area with each hole provinding stunning views of the sourrounding mountain ranges, Combin, Rogneux and Mont-Blanc.

This singular aspect of course design makes the walking easy and a round of golf enjoyable for players of all ages. Les Esserts is quite short, with very spacious fairways and greens, but the 18 holes feature many natural hazards, including numerous streams.
