The ‘Tennis Mixer’ App helps organisers to run singles and doubles ‘mixer’ events at their facility. Initially they enter who is playing and the number of courts available and the app creates an order of play. Then they simply enter the score for each match and the app maintains a leaderboard and suggests matches based of each players current position. The organiser can override these suggestions if they wish.

Participants all get matches at their level. They mix and meet other players by changing opponents (and partners in doubles.) The organiser can then finish the event by creating a final or semi-final draw for the top players on the leaderboard.

Events are set up at www. PlayTenn.is and players can view them in the ‘Events’ section of their ‘Play More Tennis’ app (PMT) They can then enter by clicking the ‘play’ button beside the event.

Throughout each event players get notifications of when they are playing and with whom through their PMT app.

Not only does the ‘Tennis Mixer’ app take all the stress out of running events, it also captures players details (email & tel.) Players are then informed, via push notifications on their PMT app, of all future events suitable for them at the facility.
