We all need encouragement and strength to not be overcome by the pressures and stresses of life. Fortunately, God has given us promises from His word to live by. We can either live by our problems or we can live the promises of God.

As a pastor, Mark Stewart would send out by email one promise from the Bible each week for his congregation to live by. This went world-wide and is now an app for others to enjoy.

The Encouraging Word is based on Numbers 11:23. It is easy to be discouraged and doubt that God’s promises are true but we have what God said to Moses when he doubted: The Lord said to Moses, “Is the Lord’s power limited? Now you shall see whether My word will come true for you or not.”
