The Orpyx® SI system consists of pressure sensors built into custom insoles, measuring the amount of pressure applied to the bottom of the foot. When pressure has been sustained over time without sufficient offloading, the device alerts the user via an application on a mobile device. The user can see which part of the foot is affected and can be guided to actively offload the affected area. The device will indicate successfulness of the offloading strategy via the mobile app.
