What is Classroom 2021?

The digital learning platform of the future - OB//CC Classroom in its latest version for 2021 - was developed to create interactive educational media from news media. Already in one of its preview versions, OB//CC Classroom was awarded the renowned Nova Innovation Award of the Federal Association of German Newspaper Publishers (BDZV) in 2019.

OB//CC Classroom is the ideal solution for home or hybrid schooling, i.e. the mixture of classroom and remote teaching in schools and vocational training.

This download contains the end-user client for pupils and students as well as for publishers testing their releases.

Within Classroom you will find a variety of media relevant to teaching. Be it for the education of media competence, political and social sciences, or as a basis for discussion of current local and regional issues. In addition, OB//CC Classroom offers the necessary virtual tools to work with the content interactively, individually or collaboratively. From whichever location.

We‘re always enhancing the library of available titles, which is including media from daily papers, local to national from different countries, as well as classic literature, task specific texts and similar.

The platform itself essentially consists of three components: a kiosk solution, a comprehensive toolbox and a work platform (digital desk). The tools you can use depend on your role inside the system. As a teacher making contact to OB//CC will help you to understand your options completely.
