The application gets data from data.gov.sg which gets them from NEA. This is more accurate than most other apps that use satellites and generalize Singapore as a location rather than her different locations (Jurong, Pasir Ris, etc).
Weather forecasts and other information are also available.

All location related calculations are calculated on the phone thus, no data private data is sent to any server.
