Before determining if a measurement is reliable, it must be confronted with a professional phonometer in the involved range of levels, since every instrument has a specific sensibility to noise. To make use of the collected data, a certain level of skills and experiences are needed; a small unprepared measurement, in the majority of cases, isn't really meaningful.
